Preface

Fire, in fragments of Heraclitus’s work, is described as the source of the world, a force of fundamentality.

Flame is a metaphor of the world we exist and live in. It is a creator and destroyer. It is hope and death. It goes around and comes around. We are the “living flame”, because life is a flame in a glimpse. Its inevitable destiny is to flame up and fade out. Yet, an inner flame can evoke one’s soul and burn forever.

The world rises from the flame. It can be tranquil and vibrant. The light clashes the darkness. It lives and diminishes. In Eternal Flame series, the world is in an endless cycle of creation and annihilation, a perpetual movement hidden in the circle of life.
