Landscape of Heart

Sun Yao’s art book “Landscape of Heart” was published in conjunction with his solo exhibition of the same name. The book presents a curated selection of 18 works from the series. 

In the book’s preface, Sun writes: “I firmly believe in the existence of this inner land — an innate, fertile soil within the heart. By drawing inspiration from nature, I seek to express its quiet and pure essence, inviting viewers to embark on their own journey of self-discovery and introspection. The landscapes are intentionally rendered as ethereal and elusive, as if constantly shrouded in mist and suspended in a state of uncertainty and flux.”
