Neverland, as a symbol of an island, echoes to Nietzsche’s Eternal Return. Every being is subconsciously nurturing an everlasting strong will to live, echoing among each other.

In Neverland series and River of Entropy series, the artist begins to illustrate a lonely island stands against by storms, undercurrents, tsunamis and vortices. It is a dying world as if God is destroying mankind with a flood, a fatalistic revelation of fear, helplessness, hope, struggle and final reconciliation when facing the reality of survival, showcasing the truth to life while enduring personal pain.

As Heidegger said, “Face death squarely.” The turmoil and the unrest awaken the profound yearning and tenderness for life.
